The Procurement Analyst – Contingent Labour is responsible for the provision of departmental wide analysis and advice relating to the procurement and management of contingent labour, as well as monitoring departmental spend in this category and compliance with Victorian State Purchase Contracts.  This will include provision of corporate reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer and Senior Executive Group. The role suits an analytical and detail focussed person who will work within the Procurement branch of Corporate Services to ensure compliance with DELWP and Whole of Victorian Government Procurement policies and procedures and assist with the implementation and management of a Vendor Management System.

You will have highly developed analytical and written communication skills, a good knowledge of financial management systems and recruitment processes and enjoy establishing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels with a focus on service excellence and delivery. The role requires strong capabilities to identify process improvement opportunities that will lead to improved sourcing, procurement and contract management within DELWP. Demonstrated knowledge of procurement practices and procedures, including demonstrated capacity to understand and apply the Victorian Government Purchasing Board guidelines.
