Position Details

The Policy Officer will contribute to the Victorian Government's ambitious climate change policy agenda and will support the Climate Change Policy branch to work with regional Victorian communities to adapt to the impacts of climate change. This will include undertaking planning and development of the annual regional adaptation program, coordinating and supporting the delivery of regional adaptation projects, stakeholder management and relationship building and program monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

If you have strong project planning, problem solving, consultation and implementation skills with experience facilitating complex processes, you are strongly encouraged to apply. Ideally you will have proven time management skills with the ability to manage policy projects with limited supervision and a flexible and responsive attitude to your work. A tertiary qualification in science, engineering, law, economics, public policy, natural resources or environmental management or similar is desirable.

This is a fixed term position for a period until 30 November 2020.
