The Renewable Energy Accountant role within the Financial Accounting Branch of the Finance and Planning Division is responsible for accounting for complex payment mechanisms and commercial terms of renewable energy schemes. This includes establishing systems and processes to account for the various energy schemes which the department is supporting. The applicant must have a degree in accounting and finance and be CA or CPA qualified. The role requires high level communication and analytical skills, specialist financial skills in the application of financial instruments and the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a fixed term position for a period of 3 years.
