Position Details

We are building an inclusive workplace to help realise the potential of our employees, embrace our differences, and apply our diverse thinking to innovation and delivering services to Victorian communities. All jobs can be worked flexibly and we encourage job applications from Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, young people and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

You and your team will collaborate with other Energy, Environment and Climate Change policy areas, and across government, to respond to reviews, develop strategies and interventions that will improve the security of Victoria's energy system and ensure Victoria is prepared to effectively manage the challenges that Victoria's electricity and gas networks face during the peak seasons of summer and winter.

You will work closely with the Manager, Energy Emergency Management team, to ensure the delivery of the Energy Sector Reform Division's emergency management responsibilities. The objective of the ESR Division is the delivery of reliable, safe, accessible, environmentally sustainable and efficient energy services that are required by Victorians and which support economic development.

The role requires strong people management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to deliver outcomes in a complex, sensitive and ambiguous operating environment.
