The position supports the regulation of Victoria's pipeline infrastructure, which is used for the transport of petroleum and other industrial products.


  • Process, assess and prepare licensing correspondence and other documentation including applications, plans and reports.
  • Perform a range of regulatory functions including the maintenance and management of various files, licensing records, licence databases and registers.
  • Support the administrative services, for the Pipeline Regulation team including email management, arranging meetings, document management including ministerial briefings, correspondence, reports and assessment.
  • Attend to email, telephone and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Communicate, consult, and build strong and effective relationship with a range of individuals and groups, clients and peers, to progress work priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with teams and team members to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Undertake project officer duties as part of a project team including document preparation and stakeholder engagement tasks involved in process improvements, policy and legislative reforms for pipelines.
  • Undertake regional travel and site visits as required.

The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a small team, liaise with industry stakeholders and undertake wide regulatory, administration and project tasks.  You will be self-starting, demonstrate initiative, enjoy learning new things and taking on new challenges.
