Reporting to the Director, Office of the Deputy Secretary, this role is responsible for managing workforce planning across the Water and Catchments Group (WCG) and ensuring investment in skills and knowledge is in line with the delivery of strategic, business and operational plans.

The role also supports the executive team in the design and implementation of a people strategy to achieve a constructive and collaborative working environment consistent with the department's values and behaviours. 

As a member of the Office of the Deputy Secretary, this role will work collaboratively across the Group to support contemporary and progressive ways to engage and work with communities and build a strong place-based approach to service delivery.  

This is a fixed term position for a period of 3 years.
