Position Details

We are building an inclusive workplace to help realise the potential of our employees, embrace our differences, and apply our diverse thinking to innovation and delivering services to Victorian communities. All jobs can be worked flexibly and we encourage job applications from Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, young people and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

This role is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to Melbourne's liveability by supporting the coordination of the Apartment Design Advisory Service (ADAS), as well as other business and project support.  It will require working across state and local government, industry, and key stakeholders. If you have proven project management skills, communications and engagement experience, and thrive in dealing with varied content and agendas, this role will challenge and excite.

The Project Support Officer is responsible for administering and coordinating the Apartment Design Advisory Service (ADAS) as part of the Building Better Apartments program. ADAS is a pilot design advisory service for councils, project owners, and designers. The service provides advice on how to improve the design of an apartment development to create better apartment buildings in Melbourne's suburbs or regional areas.

The Project Support Officer will act as Secretariat for the 12-month pilot of monthly project workshops. The role will coordinate the service by liaising with stakeholders to deliver the monthly workshops, and professionally administer the service by preparing briefings, meeting papers and reports, and managing a records and payment process. The role will also support the Branch's management team by providing business support functions and assisting team members in administering key business practices and systems.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.

To be considered for this position, your application should include a supporting statement demonstrating that you meet the key selection criteria and any job requirements specified in the position description.

Applications close at midnight Friday, 21 December 2018.
