The Principal Policy Officer – Forest Reform will provide expert and authoritative policy analysis, advice and leadership to support reform of Victoria's forest management system, including renewal of regional forest agreements. This role will work closely and negotiate with stakeholders across government, including the Victorian and other Commonwealth governments and consult on future forest management arrangements in Victoria.

It is highly desirable that the successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in law or other relevant degree, experience in intergovernmental negotiations and/or legislative reform; and must come with a suite of well-developed stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence and negotiate. Additionally, you will be competent at policy development and implementation having had a demonstrated background in such.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 3 years.
