About the role

This role is responsible for managing the successful delivery of the integrate phase of the Digital Cadastre Modernisation (DCM) project in accordance with the DCM project plan and the re-tender of a significant maintenance contract for the state's foundation mapbase - Vicmap. The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with the DCM and Vicmap teams to implement this stage. The Digital Cadastre Integration Manager must apply excellent people, stakeholder and contractor management skills, a consistent focus on technical quality and a holistic understanding of how to deliver business outcomes. Be committed to building strong, collaborative and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and vendors as required.

Specialist / Technical Expertise (desirable)

  • Formal qualifications in project management and/or procurement is desirable.
  • Completion of relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications as well as knowledge of and experience in the use of geospatial data is highly desirable.
  • Significant project delivery experience is desirable; with demonstrated completion of large/complex projects (typically greater than 12 months, multiple stakeholders, med-large team; budgets $1m+) and proven financial management skill set. 

This is a fixed-term position, for a period of 3 years.
