Position Details

We are building an inclusive workplace to help realise the potential of our employees, embrace our differences, and apply our diverse thinking to innovation and delivering services to Victorian communities. All jobs can be worked flexibly and we encourage job applications from Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, young people and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team and contribute to planning and public (crown) land projects and programs, in the Hume region, north east Victoria.

Using your strong stakeholder management skills, you will work with internal teams to ensure consistent, integrated and efficient delivery of public land management programs to the community. You will be working within a very specialised legislative framework as you assist in the delivery of a range of public property administration services and property transactions.

Your communication skills are exceptional; and you shall use these skills in strengthening the customer experience by providing guidance and sound advice to community members in accordance with relevant legislation.

As you navigate complex issues, you will be able to identify emerging issues, risks and trends impacting on the successful achievement of objectives and priorities, however you have the confidence to speak out and have the initiative to suggest solutions and options.

Your work style naturally lends itself to contributing to an inclusive workplace culture that is customer focused, collaborative, professional and engaged. You want to be a part of a high performing team that you have contributed to.

Your application will be highly regarded if you have qualifications and experience in town planning, environmental planning and natural resource management, however these are not essential.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.

To be considered for this position, your application should include a supporting statement demonstrating that you meet the key selection criteria and any job requirements specified in the position description.
