This position provides an opportunity to be part of a high performing team and contribute to facilitating the delivery of the Governments transport and major project commitments. We are seeking a highly motivated strategic planner who has demonstrated ability in leading and managing the assessment of complex planning scheme amendments.

The successful candidate will have attention to detail, an ability to meet strict delivery targets, an excellent understanding of the Victorian Planning System, ability to work well with stakeholders together with a commitment to be a senior member of the team and uphold the DELWP values.

A relevant qualification in planning or related field is required and a working knowledge of significant Victorian government policies and strategies on land use planning and legislation is also essential. You must have a demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of complex land use planning projects, and knowledge of project governance in the public or private sectors.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 3 years.
