An exciting opportunity exists for two Senior Planners to join the Smart Planning team at DELWP. This position will provide leadership and advice as part of the Smart Planning program to deliver major reform to the Victorian planning system. As a senior member of the project team, you will deliver project accountabilities within tight timeframes and identify actions to address policy issues as they arise. You will also initiate, maintain and manage the relationships between internal and external stakeholders and DELWP, working in close partnerships with key stakeholders to engage them in the Smart Planning Program.

We are looking for somebody who has knowledge of significant government policies and strategies on land use planning and legislation coupled with a relevant qualification in planning or a related field. Experience in statutory and/or strategic planning within local government or planning industry is highly desirable.

There are two positions available for a fixed term period until 20 June 2021.
