ABOUT THE POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to provide operational support to the Ticketing Manager by ensuring the accurate setup, maintenance and delivery of ticketing for Museums Victoria activities. The role contributes to the smooth day‑to‑day operation of ticket sales, revenue processing and reporting, and supports users of the Ticketing and Booking System (BOS) by resolving ticketing issues and maintaining consistent operational practices.
Some of the key duties include:
- Create, adjust and maintain tickets to ensure accurate and efficient sale, redemption and consistent reporting across all sales points.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ticketing issues, in collaboration with internal areas such as IT, Data, Finance.
- Reconcile online ticketing revenue daily and produce high-quality statistical reports and communications as required.
- Support and train ticketing system users, while maintaining procedures and contributing to continuous improvement of ticketing operations.
The successful applicant will have:
- Strong analytical and technical capability, including experience operating ticketing system applications and working accurately with system data (Power BI and Excel skills advantageous).
- Proven ability to produce reports, maintain documentation, and communicate information effectively to a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience training others, applying operational procedures, and collaborating well with colleagues.
- Excellent written communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
OTHER INFORMATION
This is a Full Time, ongoing role. The salary on offer is VPS3.1 base of grade - $79,122 per annum + 12% Superannuation.
