Numbering over 800 staff, our Registration and Licensing (R&L) division significantly contributes to ensuring Victorians are safe on our roads by providing professional customer services, policy advice and specialist services to our customers
About the role
We are currently looking for an Area Manager to join our VicRoads Customer Services team based in our Eastern Metro 3 Area with Customer Service Centres (CSCs) in Dandenong, Dromana, Frankston, and Pakenham. Reporting to the District Manager Eastern, the core responsibilities include regular travel between the Eastern Metro 3 centres to develop and coach your team, promote innovation, and focus on delivering positive customer experience outcomes, whilst managing and monitoring operational productivity and efficiency across the Eastern Metro 3 centres.
Day to Day Duties
Deliver against customer expectations, service standards, organisational compliance, and financial goals for the Area
Engage and communicate with staff regularly to ensure staff are well informed and aware of the expectations
Lead, manage, motivate, and develop Managers and their staff to ensure a culture of delivering exceptional R&L services to all customers
Monitor and report on the area performance including identification and implementation of actions where performance goals for the area are not being achieved
About the Ideal Candidate
This position has 4 direct reports covering the Eastern Metro 3 Area, you must have demonstrated leadership and management experience, with the ability to work alongside multiple teams to deliver positive customer experience outcomes. Also, you must have a high attention to detail with the coordination of formulating business plans, OH&S reports and site budgets within policies and procedures. Your ability to negotiate and influence key internal and external stakeholders, will allow to provide opportunities for innovation and business improvement. You must have a current and valid driver's license to travel between sites and state-wide meetings at any given time.
