Annual Salary Range VPSG5: $102,637 - $124,183 per annum plus superannuation
Employment Type: Ongoing Full Time (the department provides flexible working arrangements)

About the Opportunity
The Problem Manager ensures the effective and efficient delivery of ICT processes as well as compliance with them. This role is a strong promoter of the ITIL framework and leads the delivery of ITIL processes that align with industry standards and best practice. You will apply well developed specialist Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) knowledge and advanced understanding of DoT operational Information Communication Technology (ICT) requirements to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of ICT processes and ensure compliance with them.
About You
- The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to demonstrated knowledge and experience in the below:
- Demonstrated experience in managing IT problems, changes, and major incidents in an ITIL framework within an enterprise environment
- Ability to identify, remove or minimise obstacles and barriers to ITIL process implementation and service improvements.
- Ability to switch between priorities based on operational needs.
The ability to be on-call 24 x 7 (1 week out of every 3 weeks) to manage major incidents to their resolution is also required.
