Senior ITS Analyst
- Annual Salary Range: $103,920 - $125,735 per annum plus superannuation
- Employment Type: Fixed Term, Full-Time until 30 june 2024 (flexibility may be available)
- Usual Work Location: Ringwood ( Department provides flexible working arrangements)
About the Team
The Transport Services Team's purpose is to deliver transport services across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network. The wider team is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
About the Opportunity
As a technical leader of the team, this position will provide strategic direction for the development of Intelligent Transport Systems & Technology and provide transport & journey data analysis.
About You
- Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor staff in regimes for Intelligent Transport Systems and system knowledge.
- Provide expert advice on planning scheme amendments and lead the development of significant projects.
- Exercise professional independent and creative judgement to perform and/or manage a variety of complex design duties where objectives may be only partially defined to generate viable, innovative options at functional design level for projects that would address the identified problem.
- Lead the implementation of new processes or techniques to prevent or overcome potential system failures.
- Effectively lead, manage and execute professional application and knowledge of design applications, process and methodologies to achieve set objectives.
