Position Details

About the opportunity

The Investment Analyst will be required to support the management of the AVS Investment portfolio.  This will include project management of milestone delivery and reporting, portfolio analysis and reporting to the AVS Investment Committee.  In addition, the position will assist in supporting and informing AVS technology investment propositions through technology value assessments and commercialisation market research as required.

About you

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have experience across: 

  • Advanced MS Excel skills to build new and develop existing investment models.
  • Experience in portfolio, project management and analysis of investments.
  • Experience in analysing and developing business plans, marketing strategies and investment propositions.
  • Experience in using or reviewing economic models of market value relating to research outputs and technology IP rights.
  • Highly developed communication skills including an ability to work within a team and independently.
  • Experience in market data research and analysis and assessment of commercial technology, preferably in a technological and/or agribusiness sector.
  • An understanding of emerging international ag-biosciences, ag-genomic and ag-biological technology markets and key global players in the arena.
