Position Details

Are you organised, reliable, proactive and passionate about supporting high‑quality patient care? Join our Rotamah Ward administrative team and play a key role in delivering exceptional clerical support.

The Contract: Ongoing, Part Time 72 hours (9 shifts) per fortnight

Shifts: Day shifts Monday to Friday (8.00 am – 4.30 pm) as rostered 

In this rewarding role, you'll provide timely and accurate administrative services that keep the ward functioning smoothly - from patient registration and documentation, to supporting busy clinical teams with responsive customer service. Your ability to work with urgency, accuracy and confidence in a dynamic environment will make you an essential part of our patient‑care team.

This position also provides relief coverage to Flanagan Ward, offering variety and the chance to support multiple clinical teams while working a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.

What you need:

  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, person‑centred approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating clarity, compassion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in MS Office and client databases, with accurate keyboard and data‑entry skills
  • Ability to work with urgency and attention to detail in a fast‑paced clinical environment
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Proactive, solution‑focused mindset with the ability to identify and appropriately escalate issues
  • Collaborative team approach with adaptability, reliability and a commitment to confidentiality
