A unique and exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to secure a senior role in a fixed-term contract within our Allied Health team. This position will enable the successful incumbent to further develop their leadership and management skills and expand their future career opportunities. Lead in a regional setting where your work will truly make a difference.

The contract: Parental Leave Relief Fixed- Term starting mid-August 2025 Full Time 80.0 hours per fortnight to 2.10.2026

The position:

In this diverse position you will provide leadership in the provision of Occupational Therapy (OT) and supporting Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Services that support improved health outcomes for consumers as part of a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach to the delivery of health care services. You will also work closely with the Deputy Director Allied Health in the implementation of new departmental and organisational initiatives related to Allied Health.

What you need:

  • A Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical Occupational Therapy with demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proven capacity to provide strong leadership to individuals, teams and external networks to achieve quality, evidenced based, person centred health care in a changing environment.
  • Extensive clinical experience in a hospital and/or community setting with a demonstrated ability to provide patient-centred care and goal focused Occupational Therapy and Lymphoedema interventions.
