Two opportunities have arisen at BRHS for customer focused individuals with food service/preparation experience to join our Food Services team in an ongoing position. This is a great entry level role to start your healthcare career.

The Contracts:

1 x Ongoing, Part-Time, 32.0 hours per fortnight

1 x Ongoing, Part-Time, 48.0 hours per fortnight

Casual contracts also available, please specify your preference in your application.

The Position:

The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm and excellent work ethic to work as part of a team to ensure the provision of a first-class food and beverage service to the hospital community. Hours of work will range between 6:30 am to 8:15 pm. Applicants are required to be flexible and adaptable to working hours and be available to work a range of shifts as rostered, across 7 days a week including public holidays as required.  Penalty rates and allowances will be paid accordingly.

The successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in food preparation and/or service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety Regulations
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • An understanding of the principles of confidentiality.
