Endorsed Enrolled Nurse

Ongoing, Part Time, 56.0 hours per fortnight

Rotamah Ward 

A great opportunity exists for an experienced Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join the Rotamah Nursing team in an ongoing role.

This is a great chance to consolidate your nursing skills caring for general medical and paediatric patients in a supportive environment. Recent acute nursing experience and intravenous medication endorsement is essential. Rotamah is a 17 bed unit which facilitates care for medical, paediatric, palliative and midwifery clients. A mixture of Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses staff the ward. Rotamah also provides placement and support for Registered and Enrolled undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate Nursing and Midwifery students.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Diploma level qualifications in Medication Administration and Intravenous medication endorsement is essential
  • Well-developed clinical assessment skills with the ability to apply the escalation of care principles.
  • Excellent care planning skills with a good understanding of and commitment to providing patient centred care with a compassionate approach.
  • A good understanding of discharge planning and transition of care issues so as to achieve safe and timely discharge;
  • Proven capacity to work in an effective and collaborative manner as part of a multidisciplinary health team.
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to utilise key principles to ensure a good clinical handover and escalation of care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to effectively manage conflict
