As the largest healthcare provider in East Gippsland, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) provides services to a rapidly growing population.  The BRHS Medical Workforce provides services across a broad spectrum of care including our Emergency Department which currently receives approximately 20,000 varied presentations per year.

Exciting opportunities exist for experienced Senior Medical Officers to join our expanding Medical Workforce team.  In this role you will provide senior medical support to the BRHS Emergency Department and other areas as required by delivering high-quality and locally appropriate medical care to consumers of BRHS.  You will provide leadership and supervision to our Interns, Hospital Medical Officers and Registrars and provide expert input into clinical governance activities.  Specialist rural and remote training pathways exist and applicants with these career aspirations will be supported and encouraged to apply for this position.
