The position:

Being a midwife at BRHS offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of our dedicated midwifery team and contribute to the high level of care provided by BRHS to our community. In this role you will work in partnership promoting women centred care throughout the pregnancy and birth continuum ensuring the women's physical, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs and expectation for her pregnancy-childbirth continuum are at the centre of your care. Expand your skills and knowledge by being exposed to new models of care. 

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience with a base salary range of $80,000 to $110,000

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
  • Minimum of 4 years recent experience in a range of midwifery settings.
  • Minimum level 2 qualifications in fetal surveillance is mandatory.
  • Well-developed skills in all areas of the pregnancy and birth care, and the proven ability to operate confidently across antenatal, Intra partum and postnatal care including the domiciliary environment.
  • Proven capacity to identify and report risks or incidents when they occur.
