Applications are invited to join our Postgraduate Nurse Studies Program at BRHS in 2023.  This program offers a fantastic opportunity to be supported to pursue your education and career in your area of interest.

The Program:

Our Postgraduate Nurse Studies program will support you in developing a comprehensive theoretical specialist knowledge base as you to study and work in your chosen specialist area.  You will receive mentoring by our highly skilled clinical educators in our supportive learning environment as well as exposure to a broad range of patient conditions enabling your skills and knowledge to grow significantly.

The Positions:

Specialist Postgraduate nursing studies are available in a range of nursing specialties, including but not limited to, emergency nursing, perioperative nursing, midwifery, high dependency nursing.  Additional areas include Oncology, Dialysis, Medical, Surgical, Rehabilitation, Palliative, Aged Care and Home Based Services.  If you have an interest in any of these additional areas, please contact us to discuss this further.   Roles are contracted to a minimum of 0.6 eft to allow a balance between your study and work.

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration and completion of a Graduate Nurse Program
  • A minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience 
  • Demonstrated genuine interest in area of speciality
  • Commitment to learning and education with the ability to manage study/work balance and apply new knowledge in a safe and effective manner
