Two great opportunities have arisen for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses who have excellent clinical assessment and care planning skills and are keen to further develop their knowledge in med/surg nursing.  In this role you will receive strong support from our dedicated nursing team, combined with ongoing professional development opportunities to progress your nursing career.

The Contracts:             Ongoing, Part Time 32.0 hours per fortnight

                                      Fixed Term until 27/03/2023, 56.0 hours per fortnight

The Position:

In this role you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide patient centred, compassionate nursing care using the principals of evidence based practice to improve care delivery.  You will gain invaluable experience in a multifaceted clinical environment and enjoy being part of a dedicated team committed to the provision of excellent patient care.

Key criteria you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration with a qualification in Intravenous medication administration.
  • Recent acute medical or surgical nursing experience is preferred
  • Well-developed clinical assessment skills with the ability to apply the escalation of care principles.
  • Excellent care planning skills with a good understanding of and commitment to providing patient centred care with a compassionate approach.
  • A good understanding of discharge planning and transition of care issues so as to achieve safe and timely discharge;
  • Proven capacity to work in an effective and collaborative manner as part of a multidisciplinary health team.
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to utilise key principles to ensure a good clinical handover and escalation of care.
