Position Details
Maddocks Gardens is a welcoming and community‑focused residential aged care facility within Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS). Recognised for Excellence in Aged Care, we pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care that supports the wellbeing, dignity and independence of our residents.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated After Hours Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight and responsive support outside standard business hours. In this pivotal role, you will act as the senior clinical decision‑maker on site, ensuring continuity of care, guiding staff through complex situations and maintaining a calm, supportive presence for residents and families.
This role is ideal for a confident clinician who thrives in a leadership position, enjoys problem‑solving, and is committed to fostering a positive team culture. Your ability to provide guidance, reassurance and clear direction will make a meaningful difference to the people who call Maddocks Gardens home.

What You'll Bring
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum two years' nursing experience in Aged Care.
• Proven leadership capability, including team coordination, supervision and mentoring.
• Strong clinical decision‑making skills and the ability to manage after‑hours issues with confidence.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care.
• Understanding of quality improvement, risk management and safe work practices.
• A compassionate, inclusive approach aligned with BRHS principles of care.
