Full Time/Part Time negotiable, Permanent position commencing January 2018


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team that is driven to embed innovative models of care.  If you are looking for a new challenge and wanting to build on your leadership and management skills, this position will provide you with the perfect platform to do this.

In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in process improvement, quality improvement activities and the evaluation of physiotherapy service delivery.  You will work across a range of clinical settings and grow your leadership skills by providing support and guidance to Grade One Physiotherapists and students.

The Grade 2 therapist will be responsible for physiotherapy delivery to the subacute ward treating a varied orthopaedic, neurological and reconditioning caseload.   With an organisational focus on professional development, your ongoing learning will be strongly supported through internal and external professional development opportunities and mentoring and peer support by our Allied Health Team Leaders.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist
  • Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in the health sector
  • Extensive clinical experience and specialist knowledge in a hospital setting with demonstrated clinical skills in at least one of the following, neurological and/or orthopedic
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to manage and prioritise a varied and demanding caseload
  • An understanding of and commitment to contemporary service delivery models of care that focus on person centered care
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in providing leadership, management and supervision of Grade 1 clinicians, allied health assistants and students
