Ongoing, Part Time, 40.0 hours per fortnight


Applications are invited from enthusiastic and customer focussed cleaners to join our Environmental Services team in a permanent part time position. 

In this cleaning position at BRHS you will work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of areas throughout the organisation. You will perform a variety of duties to ensure a clean, safe and hygienic environment is maintained to the highest level at all times throughout the health service.  As a BRHS employee, it is essential that privacy and confidentiality is maintained and a professional and responsive manner is displayed at all times to patients, families, community members and staff.

This role is currently rostered to work between Monday and Friday from 7.00am to 11.00am.  Availability to work public holidays is a requirement of this role.


The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Experience with a range of cleaning methods, application of chemicals and operating large industrial cleaning equipment
  • A good level of physical fitness required to undertake manual handling duties.
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of duties within daily routine.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a good understanding of the benefits of a team approach.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • An understanding of the Victorian Cleaning Standards, Internal/External Cleaning Audits and their implications to the organization.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training appropriate to the role.
