We are offering a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist who is looking to grow their skills in a new setting.  This is a great chance to progress your knowledge and independence as a practitioner in a supported environment whilst enjoying a fantastic lifestyle in beautiful East Gippsland. 

The Position:

In this role you will rotate through our acute inpatient, rehabilitation and outpatient services, providing you with job variety and an array of learning opportunities in the early part of your career.  Being a regional Health Service you will be exposed to a varied caseload and you will benefit from supervision and support from experienced health professionals across our dedicated multidisciplinary team.

The Department:

Physiotherapy services at BRHS are provided for the Health Independence Program which includes Sub Acute Ambulatory Care, Post-Acute Care and Complex care, aged care, acute/ward setting, home and community care programs rehabilitation (HACC). The team consists of a Team Leader, Grade 1 & 2 Physiotherapists and is supported by Allied Health assistants.

Key attributes required:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA prior to commencement
  • A good knowledge in acute inpatients, inpatient rehabilitation or GEM, outpatients.
  • Well-developed, clear and concise communication skills which promote service and client interests.
  • Good organisational and time management skills
