Applications are sought to join our dedicated and friendly Allied Health team.  This is a great opportunity to progress your career in a supportive environment.  You will gain invaluable experience in a regional health service whilst enjoying the natural assets offered in beautiful East Gippsland. Our team requires an experienced Speech Pathologist, however applications are welcome from both Grade One and Two applicants. New graduates are still encouraged to apply.

The Position:

In this role you will work with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, education and treatment to both inpatients and adult outpatients with communication and swallowing disorders.  You will deliver effective Speech Pathology services that support improved health outcomes for clients as part of a multidisciplinary and integrated approach to the delivery of contemporary health services.

The sucessful candidate will need:

  • Subsidised BRHS furnished accommodation for up to 12 weeks
  • A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Recent experience in either an Acute hospital setting, Rehabilitation Inpatients or Community Outpatients
  • The ability to provide person centred care and goal focused interventions
  • Effective communication, teamwork & organisational skills.
