Management Accountant

Ongoing, Part Time, 48.0 hours per fortnight

Business Intelligence Unit


A new opportunity has arisen at BRHS for a skilled Management Accountant to join our Business Intelligence team.  If you have excellent analytical and communication skills and solid experience in a similar role, then this role would be a great fit for you.

Reporting to the Director of Business & Information Services, your key responsibilities will include coordinating the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, monthly reporting for managers and the costing of investment logic maps, business cases and financial portion of clinical costing.

We are seeking a talented individual with:

  • Bachelor Degree in accounting or commerce
  • Minimum five years post graduate experience with at least three years in a similar role
  • Fully qualified CA or CPA is desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated record of achievement  in the compilation of complex labour budgets
  • Proven track record in cost accounting including overhead allocation methodologies and variance analysis
  • Proven ability to successfully liaise with a range of stakeholders and successfully communicate financial information to people with a non-financial background
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously with self-direction and initiative
