The Position:

In this role you will provide leadership to our accounts payable and accounts receivable team members to ensure that daily financial accounting tasks are undertaken with accuracy and within timelines and guidelines.  The position will support the provision of financial accounting services to the health service including; assist in completion of year-end financial statements and month end processes, cash and investment requirements, financial reporting requirements, management of grant and donation funding and other financial accounting requirements and enquiries.

Key criteria required:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Commerce
  • Minimum three years post graduate accounting experience with CPA or CA membership or working towards
  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting processes and systems, reporting and analysis
  • Well-developed analytical and communication skills
  • Good leadership and organisational skills with the capacity to use initiative and be self-directed
  • Proven ability to adapt to and implement change in the workplace
  • Experience in computerized accounting systems and the Microsoft Office suite
