Advanced Skills Training Post in Adult Internal Medicine - accredited with ACRRM

Two Positions commencing January 2018


As the largest healthcare provider in East Gippsland, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) provides services to a rapidly growing population.  The BRHS Medical Department provides services across a broad spectrum of care, including a newly built Medical/Surgical ward (estimated completion date November 2017) containing 34 beds with a 4 bed High Dependency Unit and 2 bariatric beds.  Local Rural Generalists, Staff Physicians and Visiting Specialists all provide a range of medical services through the General Medical team.

In this role you will provide high quality assessment and care to inpatients under the direction and supervision of the staff Physicians.  Caring for a broad range of low and high acuity medical patients in conjunction with the multidisciplinary health team, you will rapidly expand your knowledge and skill level.
