The BRHS Radiography team is expanding and has a number of new opportunities for experienced and enthusiastic Radiographers at either the Grade 1, 2 or 3 level. 

The Position:

These roles offer the opportunity to work in a modern and progressive department within a regional health care setting. Radiographers interested in training in ultrasound will be considered.  Profesional growth is encouraged and all team members receive strong professional development support to grow their skills.

The Department:

Our Medical Imaging department operates over a variety of specialities and our facilities comprise state of the art equipment.  A full range of interventional and fluoroscopic procedures are undertaken within the department with our service also being complimented by the expertise of visiting Radiologists.  Our Medical Imaging department has expanded in recent years with the installation of a GE 1.5T MRI machine, the latest Toshiba CT scanner, modern procedure rooms and the introduction of a multidisciplinary clinic in central Bairnsdale.

Minimum criteria you need to meet:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging or similiar
  • AHPRA Registration as a Radiographer
  • Department of Health Radiation Use Licence
  • Membership with ASMIRT & current enrolment in a CPD program
  • A good level of knowledge of current Medical Imaging practices with experience using a range of Medical Imaging equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and assertively with a wide range of people
  • Demonstrated commitment to the provision of excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to work well independently with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team
