Contract: Grade 5, Full-Time, Ongoing role.

The position:

This role provides administrative leadership and support to the BRHS Medical Workforce, as well as working collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the effective management and development of the medical workforce at BRHS.  Key responsibilities of this role include coordinating Junior and Senior Medical staff recruitment, overseeing orientation, on-boarding and review processes, supporting the BRHS Credentialing Committee, and monitoring rostering and leave planning within budget and roster parameters. The role also provides leadership and support to the Medical Workforce Administration team to ensure department objectives are achieved.

Key criteria required:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business Management, Human Resources or related field.
  • Comprehensive experience in human resources and business administration as well as experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven skills in the provision of human resource management with experience conducting effective recruitment, rostering, workforce planning and enterprise agreement/award application.
  • A self-starter who is solution-focused and able to problem solve and use initiative to promptly address and appropriately escalate emerging issues.
  • Proven capacity to develop, lead and coordinate a cohesive and well-functioning small team.
