STATUS: Fixed Term contract up to November 2022
HOURS: 64.0 hours per fortnight
The Electronic Medical Records project is underway at BRHS and Expressions of Interest are invited again from clinicians with experience in an acute or sub-acute area to join the project team in a Subject Matter Expert role.
Subject Matter Experts (SME) provide a broad range of site and department specific expertise, as required, to inform and support the continued roll out of this Project. SME's work as part of a team, under the direction of the Sub Regional Partnerships and Innovation Lead, working directly with the EMR Site Coordinator and with the Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA) Project team. The position plays an important role in ensuring that information needs, education, testing and training requirements are met within the area of expertise to support the local implementation of the EMR.
The Project is anticipated to run until December 2022, however opportunities exist to take up a fixed term contract for a shorter duration, or to work additional hours as a supplement your current role.
The successful candidate is required to have:
- Current experience in a clinical setting
- At least 3 years' experience in either an acute or sub-acute area
- A good level of operational knowledge excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills,
- Good analytical skills with the ability to find inefficiencies with workflows and processes
