Position Details

An opportunity now exists for dedicated and passionate nurses with experience providing clinical supervision for undergraduate nursing students to join BRHS Learning and Development department in a rewarding position. Contracts: 1 x Ongoing, 80.0 hours per fortnight.

                  1 x Fixed-Term, 80.0 hours per fortnight to 29.06.2025

The Position:

This role provides a great opportunity to enjoy a fresh challenge providing coordination, supervision and support to nursing students on placement at BRHS. Key tasks include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining student placement agreements, development of student rosters and distribution of rosters, supporting clinical supervisors in providing best practice supervision including giving productive feedback to students.

The Team:

The BRHS Learning, Support and Development team consists of a knowledgeable and friendly team of highly experienced nurses who are dedicated to the development of nurses and patient care at BRHS. The department provides education, training, competency assessment, support and development opportunities for nurses and other clinical staff.

What you need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as registered nurse with recent acute experience.  
  • Recent experience providing clinical supervision for undergraduate nursing students
  • Completion of a Clinical Supervision course
  • Knowledge of teaching and assessment principles, quality improvement processes and contemporary health principles that supports student learning
