Position Details

STATUS: Parental Leave Replacement

HOURS: Part Time, 48.0 hours per fortnight

DEPARTMENT:   People and Culture


We are looking for an efficient administration professional to join our People and Culture team in this parental leave replacement position.  This role offers a fantastic opportunity to use your administrative skills and expand your knowledge in the field of Human Resources.

The People and Culture team at BRHS is responsible for providing advice and support to the organisation in all areas of Human Resources.  In this position you will work in the department's reception area and will often be the first point of contact for internal and external customers. 

To succeed in this role you will have the capacity to multitask and an excellent eye for detail, enabling you to perform a range of administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.  This position is suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys people interaction. It is envisaged that the completion date for this role will be April 2020.


We are seeking a talented individual with:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in Administration preferably with some exposure to Human Resource functions.
  • A relevant qualification (Minimum of Certificate 3 in Business Administration).
  • Proven excellent organisational ability in a busy working environment.
  • Excellent demonstrated understanding and provision of customer service.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • An understanding of the role of Human Resource Management in a busy, diverse organisation.
  • Well-developed skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office and capacity to use multiple software systems relevant to Human Resources/Payroll.
