An exciting new opportunity exists to join our expanding People and Culture team in a generalist Human Resource role.  This position offers a great chance to grow your knowledge and skills in a large and multifaceted organisation and benefit from mentoring and support from an experienced HR team.  This opportunity is suitable for a variety of applicants including those have a relevant qualification and are wanting to pursue a career in Human Resources or more experienced HR professionals who are looking for a new and interesting challenge.   

The Contract: Ongoing, Full Time

The Position:

This newly-created role will provide you with a challenging opportunity to apply your human resource knowledge/qualification in the areas of workplace relations, recruitment, retention, inclusion & diversity and workforce development, wellbeing and engagement strategies.  You will work within a supportive and experienced team of professionals to provide key human resource services across the organisation and support the advancement of key deliverables as outlined in the People and Culture business plan.  Exciting times are ahead for our team with the development of a range of initiatives including the implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

Key criteria required includes:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
  • Demonstrated good understanding of the key functions of human resource management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities with a high attention to detail.
