About the branch

The Infrastructure and Information Technology Division provides core support in information technology and physical resources such as accommodation and fleet. The division provides the strategies, business processes and systems to efficiently and effectively deliver these core support services to enable Parks Victoria to be financially sustainable, safe and technologically enabled.

The Infrastructure Capital Projects Directorate delivers a range of projects and programs across the estate including recovery projects following significant storm and fire events.

About the role and your responsibilities:  

As the Capital Projects Support Officer, you will provide high level support and consultancy services to the directorate by undertaking a wide range of administrative, organisational, analytical and advisory duties.

Your responsibilities in this role will include providing support for administrative, transactional tasks such as data entry, reimbursements, training information and data management and contributes to continuous improvement. Other duties include preparation of submissions, reports and other correspondence; organisation of meetings and conferences, including the preparation and dissemination of minutes and other documentation arising from project related meetings and events; collate necessary HR/finance forms. You will ensure individual and directorate goals are achieved and services are provided in an effective and timely manner.

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in an admin/business support team, including proficient use of relevant systems and software.
  • Ability to identify and develop continuous improvement strategies and systems to assist the organisation to achieve its goals.
  • Undertake simple research, analytical work and assist in the preparation of reports.
  • TAFE business certificate or equivalent is desirable.
