Facility and Minor Works Coordinator
• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of the Facility Services Team, ensuring that daily activities are completed, service requests and event set ups are prioritised.
• Engage with the Court's judiciary and staff in relation to minor refurbishment requests under the Minor Works Fund. Ensure all appropriate paperwork is prepared, documented and budgets and expenditure are reported on.
• Provide input and knowledge to the Facility and Security Manager relation to future planning for accommodation, building work, funding and project development.

About us
The County Court of Victoria is established pursuant to the County Court Act 1958. It has original and appellate jurisdiction and is the principal trial court in the State of Victoria. The Court hears over 12,000 criminal, common law, and commercial cases each year. The County Court has unlimited monetary jurisdiction in common law and commercial matters. In its criminal jurisdiction, the Court hears all indictable offences except treason, murder, and related offences.
There are a total of 80 Judges of the Court and over 300 staff, including judicial support staff. The County Court regularly conducts circuit sittings at 12 circuit courts situated in major centres throughout regional Victoria.

About the role
The County Court (CCV) is Victoria's principal trial court, and its purpose is to hear and determine matters in a fair, timely, efficient and accessible way. The Court is led by its judiciary, which is then supported by approximately 340 staff that work in the areas of Registry, Judicial Support and the Administration.
The Court' is committed to delivering core business well, achieving judicial and staff wellbeing, budget sustainability and ensuring we have a positive and inclusive workplace.
This role will lead the facility team to respond to service requests and engage with our building maintenance service partner to ensure that the facility remains fit for purpose and meets the needs of the judiciary and staff.
In this role you will:
prioritse work requests, engage with judiciary, the executive and staff on facility upgrades and furbishment requests, manage those requests to delivery, undertake reporting and prepare accommodation audits and implement efficiiencies in the operaitonso the facilities team.
About You
We are looking for someone that has excellent organisation, planning and communication skills that can work within a small team to deliver responsive services to the Court.
Whilst no formal qualifications are required for the role, experience in either facility management or project delivery would be an advantage.
