Full-time, fixed-term for 12 months

Commencing salary of $55,692 plus 9.5% superannuation 

As a Tipstaff within the County Court you will be an integral support member of the Judges team by providing operational, administrative and technical proficiency. A Tipstaff requires excellent organisational skills, sound judgment and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people. 

The Tipstaff role is a unique and interesting one which provides a fascinating insight into the judicial system. The two week induction program ensures that you are well briefed and ready to take on your new role with gusto. 

On a day to day basis your duties will include making proclamations and administering oaths within court, operating all in-court technical equipment and helping to maintain jury security. You will have the opportunity to work with a large range of internal and external stakeholders including members of the public, Judges, Associates and Court Technology providers.

Your exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills together with your high level technical ability will ensure your success in the Tipstaff role.
