Facility & Accommodation Officer
• Working in a small team you will contribute to the overall delivery of high quality, facility, accommodation and mail processing services to Judges and Court staff of the County Court.
• You will exercise your judgement and have the ability to work autonomously whilst ensuring that service delivery is effective and linked with other services across the Court and within Business Services.

About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The County Court of Victoria is established pursuant to the County Court Act 1958. It has original and appellate jurisdiction and is the principal trial court in the State of Victoria. The Court hears over 12,000 criminal, common law, and commercial cases each year. The County Court has unlimited monetary jurisdiction in common law and commercial matters. In its criminal jurisdiction, the Court hears all indictable offences except treason, murder, and related offences.
There are a total of 80 Judges of the Court and over 300 staff, including judicial support staff. The County Court regularly conducts circuit sittings at 12 circuit courts situated in major centres throughout regional Victoria.

About the Role
The County Court is Victoria's principal trial court and its purpose is to hear and determine matters in a fair, timely, efficient and accessible way. The Court is led by its judiciary, which is then supported by staff that work in the areas of Registry, Judicial Support and the Administration.
The Court is committed to delivering core business well, achieving judicial and staff wellbeing, budget sustainability and ensuring we have a positive and inclusive workplace. Daily duties include daily mail collection, processing and delivery, organising courier services, arranging Judicial and staff office relocations, event and meeting room set up, stock provision and conducting facility related audits and maintaining accurate records.
About You
We are looking for someone that has excellent organisation, planning and communication skills that can work within a small team to deliver responsive services to the Court.
Whilst no formal qualifications are required for the role, experience in facility management or similar would be an advantage. Please note that manual handling is required for this role.
