The Team

The Audit and Investigations team undertakes and reports on Child Safe Standards (CSS) compliance and where indicated, initiates and implements enforcement activities. It is also responsible for any investigations the Commission may undertake under the Reportable Conduct Scheme (RCS). This requires the team to receive and respond to CSS complaints, implement and evaluate an audit program and play a key role in enforcement where appropriate. The team may also be required to support internal reviews of CCYP decisions. The team is responsible for preparing evidence and briefs for the Magistrates’ Court and VCAT on an as needs basis, as well as collaborating with relevant authorities in supporting compliance activity.

Who are we looking for?

As the Manager, Audit and Investigations, you will be responsible for a diverse team and be an active member of the Commission's Leadership Team. You will have demonstrated people management experience across a range of investigative and audit functions, as well as an ability to implement contemporary compliance programs, methodologies and approaches.  

With your specialist knowledge in quality and safeguards in the community services sector, you will have proven stakeholder management expertise and a demonstrated history of providing high quality services.  You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and changing priorities and have a demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of the Leadership team to achieve organisational objectives.
