The Commission is an independent statutory body established to promote continuous improvement and innovation in policies and practices relating to the safety and wellbeing of:
- Victorian children and young people generally, and
- Vulnerable children and young people in particular.
The Commission is committed to providing a child safe and child friendly environment, where children and young people with whom we have contact are safe and feel safe, and able to actively participate in decisions that affect their lives.
The newly created Corporate Services area supports organisational performance and operations of the Commission through the delivery of effective and efficient corporate services. The team provides tools and resources for the Commission to deliver on its objective of ensuring the safety and wellbeing of Victorian children and young people.
Who are we looking for?
The Manager, Corporate Services is a new position established in response to the growing size and complexity of the Commission. The Manager is responsible for a diverse team and is an active member of the Commission Leadership Team. You will have demonstrated experience across a wide range of corporate services functions, as well as specific expertise in procurement, strategic business planning and processes, organisational development and risk management.
You will have proven people management expertise and a demonstrated history of providing high quality services. You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and changing priorities and have a demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of the Leadership team to achieve organisational objectives.
