Position Details

The Case Manager undertakes assigned tasks to support the delivery of the RCS case management approach that includes receiving and reviewing allegations of child abuse and child-related misconduct, assessing entity capacity to undertake investigations, monitoring entity investigations, reviewing entity investigation reports and recommending improvements following an investigation.

The Case Manager will undertake assigned tasks aimed at progressing reportable conduct notifications, oversight and investigations in a fair and expeditious fashion in a way that prioritises the safety of children. The Case Manager will report to the Team Leader, identifying and escalating complex and high-risk matters as required.

At times this position requires engagement with challenging and confronting subject matter.  This role will best suit a candidate who is resilient, empathetic, a team player and able to work in a fast- paced environment.
