The team

The Regulatory Advisory team receive and assess reportable conduct allegations and is responsible for reviewing investigations undertaken by organisations, regulators and independent investigators to ensure procedural fairness and integrity in investigative processes. Where indicated, the team also initiates and implements enforcement activities which may involve collaborating with Victoria Police and/or applying compliance monitoring tools to ensure a safe environment for children and young people.  The team also plays a critical information sharing role, working across multiple relevant government agencies to ensure an integrated approach to child protection.

The role

The Senior Case Manager takes a lead role in the delivery of the Reportable Conduct Scheme (RCS) case management system, including receiving and assessing allegations of child abuse, assessing capacity for entities to undertake investigations, monitoring entity investigations and recommending relevant employment outcomes following an investigation. 

The Senior Case Manager is responsible for leading and developing case managers, in particular through advising on more complex matters and escalating issues to the Manager, Regulatory Advisory.

Who are we looking for?

With your strong problem solving and demonstrated stakeholder management skills, you will have demonstrated experience in case management, complaints handling and/or investigations and have strong people management skills. You will be flexible in applying your knowledge to solve complex problems across a variety of sectors. You will have a high degree of empathy, excellent communication skills and have a proven history of providing high quality services and whilst displaying the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
