The role

The Inquiries team plan and complete all systemic and individual inquiries initiated by the Commissioner, inquires requested by the Minister and mandated child death inquiries. This work involves collecting information and data, including through interviews and other methodologies, conducting analysis of policies, legislation, service provision and systems, developing options for reform, formulating recommendations, and writing clear, succinct and compelling reports. This area also monitors and reports on the implementation of inquiry recommendations.

Who are we looking for? 

You will have strong experience conducting complex child related investigations, projects or inquiries and conducting analysis of policies, legislation, service provision and systems.  You will have excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.
