About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst (Data) to join our Practitioner Intelligence team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the collection and dissemination of building and plumbing information acquired by the Victorian Building Authority. This includes identifying and evaluating emerging building and plumbing compliance trends, providing recommendations based on analytical assessment and producing statistical based reports and briefs for senior management and key stakeholders.

As our ideal candidate, you will have prior experience in data and information management, data reporting and data mining, analysis and visualisation tools including SQL, MS Access, MS Excel and PowerBI with well-developed communications and effective stakeholder engagement skills.


Who we are looking for

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • sound knowledge of research and analysis techniques, intelligence analysis and information and intelligence management processes
  • relevant experience in data and information management and data reporting
  • proficient in the use of SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, PowerBI, Microsoft Office Suite and Windows PC Multi-user environments
  • well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
