Position Details

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal who is responsible for providing paralegal services to the General Counsel and Legal Services team, which includes preparing reports, briefs, correspondence and other documentation, researching issues, supporting the Freedom of Information and Privacy function and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience as a paralegal within a corporate or government environment, with sound working knowledge of court procedures and practices.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare clear, concise and accurate reports, briefing memoranda and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform legal research in both existing and emerging areas of law.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the ability to negotiate effective outcomes.

Salary Details

Salary package Grade 3 in the range of $64,583 - $78,418 per annum plus 9.5% super, will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience.
